8TH GRADE PROMOTION & ACTIVITIES AGREEMENT
2025-2026
All 8th-grade scholars are required to meet the Promotion Criteria to participate in promotion activities.
8th Grade Promotion Criteria
2.50+ Total GPA (8th Grade Ending GPA)
90% Attendance Rate
No D’s or F’s in ELA, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies
0 Suspensions or Administrative Detentions during the 2nd Semester
Completion of the 8th Grade Community Project
If at any point during the year you are not meeting the Promotion Criteria, you and your parent/guardian will be required to have a meeting with Dr. Burton (Vice Principal) and follow an Academic and Behavior Contract until you have met the promotion criteria.
The scholars must place their initials below to agree to the promotion criteria. Both the scholar and the parent/guardian must sign and date this form.
